Bill and Jane Rolf, Le Roy, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception March 3 at Port Isabel, Texas.
The event was hosted by their traveling friends, Jim and Betty Lutz, Westphalia.
Friends met for a shrimp meal and a celebratory 50th anniversary cake. Early pictures were viewed and well-wishes shared.
William E. Rolf and A. Jane Abbot were married March 3, 1962, at First Baptist Church in Iola. The Rev. Robert Means officiated.
The couple have lived in rural Le Roy, where Bill was raised and maintained the farm for more than 50 years. Jane worked 34 years as the board clerk for Le Roy-Gridley USD 235. Both are retired and enjoy traveling.
The Rolfs have two children, Bonnie Kubacka, her husband, Scott, and their children, Brianna, Isaac and Aaron, Garnett; and Ed Rolf, his wife, Callie, and children, Noah, Evyn, Ella and Liam, Hillsdale.
