William and Kathryn Barnes will gather together with their family on Saturday afternoon to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary.
William P. Barnes and Kathryn M. Peterson were married March 16, 1961 at the home of Jessie Barnes in Iola.
The couple have three children and nine grandchilden.
