Mindy Lee, State Marketing Manager for the Kansas Small Business Development Center (SBDC), led Wednesday’s inaugural “Brunch and Business” workshop at the Bowlus Fine Arts Center. About a dozen attendees listened to Lee’s presentation on how to master social media, even as a busy business owner. Sponsored by the Iola Area and Humboldt Chambers of Commerce, Thrive Allen County, and the Kansas SBDC, the event was the first in a series. The next workshop, focused on accounting and finances, is planned for June 24 in Humboldt, followed by events in August and October.
