“God’s Messengers” was Pastor Steve Traw’s message, using Hebrews 1:1-7 Sunday at Carlyle Presbyterian Church.
Traw spoke of understanding the role of angels.
The Bible speaks of angels 275 times. Examples include telling of the arrival of the baby Jesus in Bethlehem, and another spoke to Mary Magdalene at the tomb of Jesus after his crucifixion.
Angels are messengers for God, not a way to God, Traw said. Talk to God directly; He is at the core of faith. We are to live this lifetime preparing to meet God face to face.

Sunday, Feb. 22, is the annual church corporation meeting at 10:45 a.m. in the sanctuary.
