Verse 7 says, “For we brought nothing into this world, and we will take nothing out.”

Money is the root of all evil, it is a temptation and a trap with many harmful desires.

Evaluate your life and beware of people, friends and peer pressure. Balance the Christian life — we are not to judge others, but follow God’s lead.

Corrie Ten Boom was a victim of the World War II Nazi takeover of the Netherlands. She survived the suffering depending on God and her strong faith. Ten Boom was quoted as saying, “I have held many things in my hands, and I have lost them all. But whatever I have placed in God’s hands, I still possess.” Put everything in God’s hands and trust him.

Myrna Wildschuetz played the piano. Collections for the local food pantry were generous and will be delivered this week.
