Colony Christian Church enjoyed its Annual Church Family Campout at Melvern Lake this past week. The week culminated in a worship service and potluck Saturday evening after a day of fishing, tubing, boating and jet skiing. A friendly game of volleyball ended the evening.
Back in Colony on Sunday morning, Pastor Chase Riebel delivered the sermon “Sing” from Ephesians 5:19. Music was originally intended to worship the Lord and bring us closer to Him.
The Communion Meditation given by Howard Reiter was “A Voice to Heed” from John 10:1-6. Sheep follow their shepherd because they know his voice. Christians follow the Good Shepherd because He protects and guides them as they listen to His voice.
Petra Billings led worship singing “Good, Good Father,” “What a Friend We Have in Jesus” and “Come As You Are.”
