Pastor Chase Riebel took his sermon “To Sin or Not to Sin “ from Romans 6.

God’s gift of grace is not a license to sin, said Riebel.  “It is wrong to think that as Christians we are still slaves to sin. We have been set free and we can deny its claim on us,” he said.

“This Ain’t  My First Rodeo” was Darren McGhee’s communion meditation.

Angela Johnson and Theresia Turner, co-directors of the Pregnancy Family Center, spoke about the organization’s 25 years of service to the community.

They provide a Christ-centered, life affirming, support system to families by offering prenatal education, ultrasounds, clothing and various other supplies. They also focus on education offering a multitude of various classes including parenting classes, infant safety classes and Bible studies.

Brant and Danelle McGhee led Sunday’s worship by singing “Our God is an Awesome God,”  “Death was Arrested,” “All the Poor and Powerless” and “My Redeemer Lives.”
