K-State Extension offices are offering a free one-hour class on heart health, called HAPp Now: Heart Health Starts Here.
The classes will provide practical, easy-to-understand information to help you take charge of heart health, including:
• Learn what blood pressure is and what the numbers mean;
• Discover simple lifestyle strategies for heart health;
• Learn how to accurately measure blood pressure.
All sessions begin at 10 a.m.
In Yates Center, the class is Monday, April 13 at the 4H Community Building. Iola’s class is Thursday, April 16 at the Southwind Iola Extension Office.
