Liberty Landing, a new restaurant/ax throwing venue/gun store at 1054 1400 St. will host a ribbon cutting at 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 26.

Opening day was Thursday, where owner Jay Stogsdill helped prepare the first brisket of the day.

The barbecue brisket ended up in Lawrence Hill’s sandwich. Hill’s verdict? “A+,” he said between bites. He was one of the restaurant’s first customers, proud to support his daughter Sarah Stogsdill on her new venture.
