Before the news becomes too stale to report, The Register was recognized at the Kansas Department of Commerce’s annual “To the Stars: Kansas Business Awards” banquet in October as a Main Street Momentum Merit winner for the Southeast Region.
Criteria for the awards include a business’s capital investments in a community, its contributions to the local economy and support of local community events.
