Arrests reported

Iola police officers arrested Levi Boan for suspicion of disorderly conduct and Colton Hon for suspicion of battery during a disturbance Sunday evening in the 700 block of North Walnut Street.

Kayla Perry was arrested Aug. 5 for a felony warrant in the 200 block of North Third Street.

Officers arrested Jada Harris and Crystal Lindey Aug. 5 for suspicion of battery in the 700 block of North First Street.

Alexandria Murphy was arrested Aug. 2 for suspicion of theft, criminal use of a financial card and driving while suspended in the 200 block of West Jackson Avenue.

Officers arrested Derrick Miller for suspicion of being a pedestrian under the influence of alcohol Aug. 2 at the intersection of North Washington and Henry streets.

Officers arrested Alexander Barlow for a warrant out of another jurisdiction Aug. 2 at the intersection of Madison and Oak streets.

Officers respond to fender-benders

Iola police officers were called to a number of non-injury accidents in recent days.

— Tyler Michael struck a gas meter with his lawn mower in the 100 block of North Cottonwood Street Saturday.

— Nicholas White struck a gas meter in the 100 block of South Fourth Street Friday.

— Amy J. Howell struck a stop sign while turning at the intersection of Miller Road and State Street Aug. 5.

— Marcelina A. Tetreault struck a parked vehicle owned by Terry Johnson in the Iola Walmart parking lot Aug. 4.

— Ricky W. Henson struck a gas meter with his vehicle in an alley in the 600 block of North Jefferson Avenue Aug. 2.

— Corrina M. Simpson backed into a parked vehicle owned by Christian Gin in the McDonald’s parking lot Aug. 1.

— Jill M. Reed and Danille M. Ball-Nicholas collided in the 10 block of East Madison Avenue July 30.
