Driver crashes into car sales lot

Myrna F. Moore was treated for possible injuries after she drove across U.S. 54 and crashed into a pair of parked pickups Saturday morning, Iola police officers said.

Moore was exiting Pump N Pete’s, 1700 East St. The trucks were in the Sigg Motors parking lot.

Arrests reported

Iola police officers arrested Braiden Turner Monday for suspicion of theft, trespassing and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 1000 block of East Monroe Street.

Olivia Marks was arrested for suspicion of disorderly conduct Sunday evening in the 300 block of East Broadway Street, officers said.

Shawn Mansell was arrested for suspicion of battery Feb. 13 in the 400 block of South Walnut Street.

Officers arrested Daniel Berthot for a warrant Feb. 11 in the 10 block of North Washington Avenue.

Vehicle damaged

Iola police officers took a report of damage to a vehicle Saturday in the 400 block of North Cottonwood Street.

Driver cited

Officers cited Shawn Mansell, 45, of Iola, for suspicion of driving while suspended Feb. 11 in the 1600 block of North State Street.

Cemetery damaged

Iola police officers were told Feb. 9 that headstones at Highland Cemetery were damaged.
