Concrete repairs near the Elm Creek bridge on U.S. 169 near Iola will cause traffic delays over the next few weeks, the Kansas Department of Transportation reported.
Crews are doing a full-depth concrete repair over a short stretch of pavement at three locations near the bridge, just over a mile south of U.S. 54 and north of Missouri Road.
A traffic light will guide one-lane traffic through the work zone, and a 10-foot lane restriction is in effect.
Motorists can expect delays of less than 10 minutes.
Weather permitting, the work should be done by mid-May.
A similar project on U.S. 169 was completed this week south of Humboldt.
