Allen County’s Wings of Warriors chapter raised about $2,400 in a recent fundraiser, courtesy of a half-side of beef donated by Tim and Teresa Henry, owners of Twin Motors Ford in Iola.

The chapter, which donates gas cards to area cancer survivors to help defray the costs of seeking treatment, will use all $2,400 for more cards.

Currently, Wings of Warriors supports more than 50 patients, and distributed more than $30,000 in assistance in 2025.

Those wishing to donate can call Carla Capper at Capper Jewelry, (620) 365-5912, or by visiting the Wings of Warriors Facebook page.
