Its National Farmers Market Week, Aug. 4-10. Make sure you visit any of our markets and thank our growers this week.
As always, the markets will be open from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday on Jefferson Avenue at the Iola square; from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Humboldt city square; and from 1 to 4:30 on Tuesdays in the shopping plaza parking lot at 700 N. State St. in Iola.
You can register at the Farmers Market tent for a $10 gift certificate.
Special Farmers Market tattoos will be offered to youngsters during Thursdays sales as well.
Vendors accept EBT and debit cards and participate in the Double Up Food Bucks Program.
