Visitors to Thursday’s Allen County Farmers Market in downtown Iola will be serenaded with the tunes of area crooner Brenda Clark.

Attendees are invited to bring a lawn chair and enjoy the show in between stops at the local produce, baked goods and crafts tables.

Red Beard BBQ and Around the Corner Coffee Shop also have stations, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. along the 10 block of South Jefferson Avenue.

Saturday’s market runs from 8 to 11 a.m. on the Humboldt downtown square. Produce and other items, such as eggs, beef and chicken will be sold, as will hand-crafted jewelry, soap and coasters.

On Tuesdays, the scene shifts to the Iola shopping plaza in the 700 block of North State Street from 1 to 4:30 p.m.

Vendors at all three accept DBT and debit cards and participate in the Double Up Food Bucks Program.

The markets are sponsored by From the Land of Kansas and the Health Forward Foundation.
