Parents took over the May 3 meeting of the Prairie Dell 4-H Club.
The move was in honor of Parent’s Night. Specifically, the parents held the offices of their 4-H member. Finley Nelson led the flag salute and 4-H Pledge.
Lisa Wicoff was parent president.
Parent Jalayne Nelson reported that the next 4-H Council meeting is 7 p.m. on June 24 at the Iola Southwind Extension Office.
Club members voted to watch a virtual tour for this year’s seal requirement.
For the program, Lisa Wicoff gave a talk on building a wind turbine and making solar cars.
The next meeting will be 7 p.m. on June 7 at the park community building. It is an exchange meeting with Square B 4-H Club. The meeting will be conducted by Prairie Dell and the program will be given by Square B. Prairie Dell will provide the refreshments.
