Break-in and theft reported
On Dec. 10, Davis Roos, 78, of Iola reported someone broke into a residence at 508 S. Walnut. A computer and a radio were stolen.
Accidents
At 9:54 a.m. Friday, a vehicle driven by Hunter R. Reid, 21, backed from a parking stall and struck an eastbound vehicle driven by Scott Falkenstein, 61, in the G & W Foods parking lot.
At 8:24 p.m. Saturday, an unknown vehicle struck a 2018 Kia Optima owned by Mark B. Freelove, which was legally parked in the parking lot near the Iola Public Library on South Sycamore Street.
