Arrest reported
A traffic stop in the 700 block of North Cottonwood street Friday afternoon led to the arrest of Nancy Newkirk, 62, Iola, for suspicion of driving while intoxicated and driving while suspended.
Ice blamed in wreck
Garrett M. Ratley, 29, was in the Super 8 parking lot Saturday when he slid his pickup on the icy surface and into a parked vehicle owned by Henkels & McCoy, Inc. Neither Ratley nor a passenger was injured.
