Accident leads to arrests

Iola police officers were summoned to a traffic accident Sunday morning at the intersection of Madison Avenue and Kentucky Street.

Officers said a vehicle driven by Raymond Londagin failed to yield and struck a vehicle driven by Brian Rojas.

After an investigation, officers arrested both Rojas and Londagin for suspicion of driving while suspended.

Raymond and Chrisy Londagin were arrested for suspicion of obstructing law enforcement as well. Raymond Londagin also was charged with failure to yield.

Arrests reported

Iola police officers arrested Orlando Rangel for suspicion of driving while suspended Saturday at the intersection of Madison Avenue and Sycamore Street.

Allen County sheriff’s deputies  arrested Travis W. Leftwich, 46, rural Iola, for suspicion of domestic battery Saturday in the 1800 block of U.S. 54.

On Friday, deputies were called to the 200 block of South Main Street in LaHarpe, where Katrina C. Aiello, 48, and Brandon A. Aiello, 32, were arrested for suspicion of domestic battery.

On May 14, deputies were called to the 100 block of North Wall Street in Gas for a possible burglary, where they found Jason R. Cloud, 43, vagrant. Cloud was arrested for suspicion of trespassing. Deputies also are requesting a charge of violating a protection order.

Jessica D. Rogers, 43, Iola, was arrested May 7 for two failure-to-appear warrants on drug possession charges.

Deputies arrested Shaylin D. Robb, 35, Colony, on a failure to appear warrant on a disorderly conduct charge.

Vehicles collide

Ty LaRue was driving a  truck and stock trailer May 7, when deputies said he failed to stop at the intersection of 3000 Street and South Dakota Road. His truck was struck by a vehicle driven by Isaac Badders.

Both were wearing seat belts, deputies said.

Badders’s vehicle was towed from the scene.
