Arrest reported
Iola police officers arrested Gioadccino Aiello shortly after midnight Tuesday morning in the 1400 block of North Cottonwood Street for a warrant out of Johnson County.
Officers arrested Helen Gray on May 24 for suspicion of battery and interfering with law enforcement in the 600 block of North Sycamore Street.
Vehicles collide
Amber D. Gray was exiting the Landmark Bank parking lot May 23, when she struck a southbound vehicle driven by Erin Splechter on Kentucky Street, Iola police officers said.
Neither driver was injured.
Officers said Gray was cited for failure to yield.
Bicycle stolen
Cassandra Wells reported the theft of a bicycle from the 300 block of Eisenhower Drive Thursday.
Iola police officers said a suspect was identified.
Cell phone stolen
Kristen Adams told Iola police officers Wednesday that a cell phone was stolen. A suspect’s name was provided, officers said.
