Arrests reported
Iola police officers arrested Noah Karr Thursday for suspicion of driving while suspended, no insurance, expired registration and consuming alcohol as a minor in the 100 block of South Third Street.
Bobbie Nunnery was arrested Wednesday for suspicion of driving while suspended in the 1900 block of North Cottonwood Street.
Scam reported
Officers fielded a report from Eugene Myrick Oct. 7, who said he lost an undisclosed amount of cash in the 300 block of North Jefferson Avenue.
Assault reported
John Morris reported an assault and criminal damage Thursday morning in the 300 block of South Second Street.
Thefts reported
A theft was reported Thursday at Iola Elementary School. A suspect was identified, Iola police officers reported.
On Oct. 7, a theft was reported at Iola Walmart. A suspect was identified.
Bike stolen
Alexander Driever told police officers a bicycle was stolen from the 700 block of North State Street.
Citation issued
Iola police officers cited Jennifer Millsap for suspicion of selling alcohol and tobacco to a minor Thursday evening in the 700 block of East Madison Avenue.
Motorcycle hit
Peggy J. Barrett was backing from a driveway in the 600 block of North Buckeye Street Oct. 3, when she struck a parked motorcycle owned by Shane P. Ray with her van.
