Shandie Lorene Wrench and Peter Christopher Smith will unite in marriage on March 15, 2014, at Foursquare Church in Parsons.
Shandie, Iola, is the daughter of Janice Wrench, Chetopa, and the late Gary Wrench and late Bill Schertz.
Peter, Parsons, is the son of Thomas Smith, Parsons, and the late Jerrie Smith.
Shandie is a 2000 graduate from Russell High School. She attended Fort Hays State University until 2002. She plans on attending Allen Community College in the fall for business administration.
She is the asset protection manager for Walmart.
Peter is a 1999 graduate from Labette County High School, Altamont. He is currently attending Pittsburg State University.
