Wings of Warriors discussed the organization’s financial investments as part of its April 8 meeting at the old Gas Elementary School building with guest Amanda Ames.
Since the March 11 meeting, Wings of Warriors has distributed 11 gift cards to patients battling cancer. The members also agreed to help 15 people to help pay bills.
The group’s new T-shirts will be finished soon, member Carla Capper reported.
Wings of Warriors will benefit from the Love Locks project, in which people can purchase small padlocks and have them fastened to the old railroad bridge spanning Elm Creek along the Southwind Trail.
The aim is to have the locks in place by May 1, the International Day of Love.

Seven members attended the meeting.
