Vickie Allison, 49, Urbana, was killed Monday afternoon when the car she was driving crashed in rural Neosho County.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Allison was eastbound on K-47 Highway, about five miles west of U.S. 59, when her car left the roadway and entered the south ditch.
Allison overcorrected, traveled across the highway and entered the north ditch, hitting the embankment of Jackson Road and overturning.
Allison was taken to Labette County Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
She was not wearing a seat belt, according to KHP.
