Alfonzo Lee Walls, 87, died at his home on Friday, May 16, 2014, in Italy, where he resided for several years.
Alfonzo served 22 years in the Air Force and 20 years as a civil servant. He was preceded in death by his wife Marina and son Alfonzo Jr.
He is survived by his three sisters, Thelma Shannon, Wichita, Lolita Johnson, and Evelina Birch, both of Iola. While in Iola he attended St. John’s Catholic Church.
