Allen County officers have asked County Attorney Wade Bowie to charge Molly E. Wilson, 29, with giving a false alarm.

They said Wilson made a medical call to the 911 dispatch center Tuesday that resulted in an Allen County ambulance being dispatched to a residence in the 2300 block of Minnesota Road, two miles southwest of LaHarpe.

While en route, ambulance attendants were advised that the call was a prank. Also, at the time the county ambulance was bound for the alleged Minnesota Road emergency, dispatchers were awaiting to send the ambulance to assist a child suffering from a threatening heart condition.
