The Iola City Council, which normally meets the second and fourth Mondays of each month, will instead meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the New Community Building at Riverside Park because today is Columbus Day.
City offices were closed today.
Council members will discuss Tuesday extending the contract of City Administrator Sid Fleming and insurance for the trolley recently acquired by the Iola Area Chamber of Commerce.
The public is invited.
