The Allen County Multi-Agency Team will host its annual Family Safety Night from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday on the Iola square.
The event is organized to bring families’ attention to key safety issues. June is National Safety Month.
The safety night will touch on drug prevention and animal, farm, cell phone, bike, seat belt, weather, car seat, fire and pool safety.
At the event there will be a $1 raffle for a beef package valued at $180 from Bolling’s Meat Market. Four bikes will be given away. Along with prizes there will be sno-cones, face painting and inflatables for children to enjoy.
Partners of this event are the Allen County Substance Abuse Task Force, SEK Mental Health, Regional Prevention Center/Preferred Family Healthcare.
