Modern Woodmen, a non-profit, fraternal life insurance organization, treated its members to pumpkins from Lampe Heritage Farm and Pumpkin Patch Sunday in Piqua. Above, Don Lampe retrieves a pumpkin from the patch for a group of guests. At right, Brandon McKarnin checks his gourd for mud. A round of thunderstorms that dumped more than 2 inches of rain in Piqua over the weekend made for a muddy, yet fun event for all involved. The pumpkin patch is owned by Don and Shelia Lampe.
