Water Wars returned to Humboldt Saturday after an absence of more than 20 years, soaking an estimated crowd of about 1,000 with water and fun.

Maddox Welhage, Reina Wilson, Elizabeth Wehlage and Chris Wehlage spray the crowd from the SEK Landscape?s float, ?The Shark Tank,? during the parade.

The sudsy foam pit proved popular with children.
