Iola Middle School classes will not be in session Wednesday. Principal Jack Stanley made the announcement Monday after the weekend death of Brian Harris, ANW special education math instructor. Harris worked at the middle school.
Because most IMS staff plan to attend Wednesday’s 10 a.m. funeral services in Girard, classes at the middle school are canceled.
The ACT Explore test and the sixth grade payday trip scheduled for Wednesday will be rescheduled. Other USD 257 students will have classes.
