Renowned jazz vocalist Donna Singer will be at the Bowlus Fine Arts Center’s Creitz Recital Hall at 4 p.m. Oct. 10.
A four-piece jazz group will accompany Singer, whose appearance is being sponsored by Allen Community College.
The event is free to the public.
While Singer is best known across the country, particularly for jazz afficianadoes, her spouse may be a bit more renowned locally.
Roy Singer is an Iola native and Iola High School graduate. He’s a former classmate of ACC President John Masterson.
