A bicyclist was taken to the hospital early Wednesday afternoon after being struck by a vehicle at the intersection of South and Broadway streets in Iola.
The bicyclist was riding an e-Bike and suffered what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries. The names of the adult bicyclist and motorist were not immediately released.
The incident is the second car-bike accident in Iola this month. On June 1, a child was seriously injured after being struck by a motorist on North Jefferson Avenue.
