Children’s author Brenda Maier paid a visit to Iola Elementary School Tuesday morning, one of several stops in the area as part of an Author Visit Program activity in and around Iola.
Maier also was part of a meet-and-greet and book signing at the Iola Public Library Tuesday.
The event was sponsored by the Helen Gates Whitehead Trust.
