Iola High School saluted its drama students with style Friday, with the 61st annual Little Oscars ceremony.

Performers and technicians alike were recognized, as were forensics team members.

Special recognition went to longtime supporters Linda Johnson and Kate Vernon as well.

In between the awards, students entertained the audience with a medley of songs, which included special performances by guest hosts Brigham Folk and Cara Porter, as well as a tune by Vernon, who is leaving USD 257 to take a teaching position in Wichita.
