Andy Benjamin of Iola’s parks and cemetery department levels out part of a new concrete pathway to Meadowbrook Park’s splash pad Thursday morning.
The pathway, which will feature an ADA-accessible entrance from the street, is one of the final pieces before the splash pad opens to the public.
Robby Droessler, parks and cemetery superintendent, said the pad is scheduled to be available for use once school ends mid-May.
