A massive search continues for Tim Fritch, 41, who has been missing from Humboldt since Saturday evening.
Fritchs sister, Cora Finley, said in a Facebook video that Mondays search included a Kansas Highway Patrol aircraft to look from above, a dive team from Anderson County to search the Neosho River and throngs of volunteers and law enforcement, who have scoured land along the banks of the Neosho River near Neosho Falls, where Fritchs abandoned vehicle was found.
Another dive team from Allen County was expected to assist with todays search, Sheriff Bryan Murphy said this morning.
Were going to leave no stone unturned, Finley said.
Fritch was last seen at a demolition derby in Wide Open Speed Park north of Humboldt Saturday evening.
An acquaintance used a Find My Phone app later in the evening in an attempt to find Fritch, which placed him first near Neosho Falls, then again near Le Roy along K-58 highway. His vehicle and personal belongings were found near the Neosho River bridge on the edge of Neosho Falls, but his cell phone was missing.
Fritchs phone last was active at about 8:30 that night, Finley said.
Fritch is about 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs 275 pounds. He has brown hair, which is shaved. He has hazel eyes and was last seen wearing a light gray or white T-shirt and blue jeans.
Anyone with information regarding Fritchs whereabouts is encouraged to call the Woodson County Sheriffs Department at (620) 625-8640.
