Motorists could have used a certain red-nosed reindeer to guide their way as fog shrouded much of Iola and Allen County Tuesday.
In Iola, the fog was reported as thick as peanut butter, obscuring vehicles traveling along Madison Avenue in downtown Iola.
Temps are projected to remain at record highs, in the 70 degree range, through Saturday, before a cool-off arrives next week.
