Iola City Council members are back at the starting line in search of a city administrator.
The Council was unable to come to terms with John Benson, a city planner from Raytown, Mo.
Council members will meet in a special setting tonight at 6 o’clock at City Hall to go over their options.
While the meeting is open to the public, most of the discussion is expected to take place in executive, or private session.
Carl Slaugh, city administrator since 2011, will retire in July.
