Sen. Sam Brownback, Republican gubernatorial candidate, will be in Iola Saturday as part of his 32-city “Road Map for Kansas” bus tour.
Brownback is scheduled to arrive at Riverside Park at 12:15.
Lunch will be provided.
Saturday evening USD 257 students and their parents are invited to the second annual “Moonlight Splash” at the swimming pool in Riverside Park.
Steve Orcutt and Lyle Kern are putting on the back-to-school shindig, which will feature games, prizes and surprises.
