State Sen. Derek Schmidt, R-Independence, will spend an hour in Iola Monday to discuss the Legislature’s plans to address the ongoing budget crunch.
Schmidt will be at the Frederick Funston Meeting Hall, 207 N. Jefferson Ave., from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The public is invited.
“The state’s unprecedented budget problems make it more important than ever to visit with and listen to Kansas citizens,” Schmidt said in a press release.
