The Iola Municipal Band put a bow on its 2025 summer season with a medley of Christmas tunes.
The markedly cooler temps added to the festive occasion, as the musicians and several in the audience donned reindeer antlers and other holiday attire.
The band was under the direction this year of Phil Becker.
Band member John Sheehan, who also serves as the emcee, noted many of the musicians won’t be idle for long, with rehearsals for the Iola Area Symphony Orchestra ready to commence later this month.
