FORT SCOTT — The finish line is in sight for a road construction project along U.S. 69 in Fort Scott.
Fortscottbiz.com reported a two-mile stretch of the highway, including its intersections with Third, Sixth, 12th and 25th streets has been undergoing improvement since last spring.
According to contractors, the work is due for completion by early June, the online news outlet reported.
