Parents began enrolling their children for Iola-USD 257 classes Wednesday for the 2025-26 school year. Enrollment runs through Thursday at Iola Elementary School.

USD 257 opened the unofficial start of the 2025-26 school year Wednesday with enrollment for all students.

Enrollment continues Thursday at the Iola Elementary School commons area.

Classes for USD 257 will begin Aug. 13 for students in K-6 and high school ninth-graders. The rest of the students will start their school year the next day.

Humboldt-USD 258 enrollment is set for 7 a.m.-7 p.m. August. 8. High school and elementary School students will enroll at the high school. Middle school students will enroll at the HMS offices.

Online enrollment also is available.

Humboldt classes resume Aug. 22 for those in grades 1-5, 6 and 9 — or for any other new students. Returning students in grades 7, 8 and 10-12 begin August. 23. The first day for kindergarten and pre-kindergarten is set for Aug. 26.

Marmaton Valley will host enrollment next Tuesday and Wednesday, Aug. 4 and 5, although most of the returning students likely already have been registered since May. The upcoming enrollment session is geared for new students or returnees who have not yet enrolled.

Marmaton Valley classes begin Aug. 21.

Crest USD 479 enrollment runs Aug. 4 and 5, with classes slated to resume Aug. 22.
