Bradley Lynn Esslinger, Jr., 27, Iola, died Saturday, June 1, 2013, at his home.
Bradley was born Dec. 14, 1985 in Iola, the son of Bradley Lynn Esslinger, Sr. and JoAnne Michele Shafer. He graduated from Iola High School and Allen County Community College.
Bradley made his home in Emporia and worked for Coast to Coast Transportation and Wizard’s Music Store until just recently moving to Iola.
He is survived by his mother, JoAnne Michael, and husband, Rick, Iola; his father, Brad Esslinger, Wichita Falls, Texas; three brothers, Michael Call and wife, Alicia, of Lee’s Summit, Mo., Ricky Michael, Iola, and Brenton Esslinger, Uniontown; four sisters, Brenda Call Miller and husband, Jamie, Iola, Sherri Michael Farwell and husband, Matt, Excelsior Springs, Mo., Jessica Call Wilson and husband, Joshua, Fredonia, and Breanna Esslinger, Uniontown; grandfathers Ralph Shafer, Iola, and Daryl Esslinger.
He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Lurleen Shafer and Maxine Esslinger
Visitation is 7-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Chapel in Iola.
Graveside services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Highland Cemetery in Iola. Following graveside services, there will be a luncheon for family and friends at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1420 E. Carpenter in Iola.
Memorials may be made to Allen County Animal Rescue Facility (ACARF) and left with the Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Memorial Chapel of Iola, which is in charge of arrangements.
