Carl Lee Bryson, 85, Iola, died Monday, April 6, 2015, at Greystone Residential Care in Iola.
Carl was born April 3, 1930, in Neodesha, the son of Frank and Remo (Anderson) Bryson. He graduated from Thayer High School and served in the U.S. Army. He farmed between Thayer and Neodesha for a number of years.
On Oct. 13, 1964, Carl married Margaret Hild and they moved to Iola. They made their home on a farm north of town since 1973. Margaret preceded him in death Aug. 19, 2012.
He is survived by his sister, Helen Tolliver of Independence, Mo., and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and his brother, Charles Bryson.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Chapel in Iola.
