Charlene Lavone Gilham, 78, of Wichita, mother of David Gilham, an employee of the Iola Register, died Saturday, June 5, 2010.
She was a floral designer and daughter of the late Charles and Bessie Tipton.
Other survivors include her husband, Edward Gilham Sr.; a son, Dan Jr. and his wife, Jan; daughters, Frances and her husband, Stephen White, Rose and her husband, Mike Myers, and Betty and her husband, Glen Pankratz; brothers, Howard and Wayne Tipton; 17 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Two sisters, Geraldine Newcomb and Genevieve Holcomb, died earlier.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 am. Wednesday at Metropolitan Baptist Church in Wichita. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. in Eureka Cemetery.
