Dixie Oletta Rees, 94, formerly of Humboldt, died Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025, at Vintage Park Assisted Living, Gardner.
Dixie was born Feb. 28, 1931, in Metalton, Ark., to Marion E. Clark and Belle Z. (Grubbs) Clark.
Dixie and William (Bill) Daniels were married in July 1951, and later divorced. She and Howard Dwayne Rees were married Nov. 19, 1983, in Overland Park. Dwayne preceded her in death in 2020.
Dixie is survived by daughters, Terry (Chris) Butts, Olathe, and Betty (Mike) Vandiviere-Valley, Springfield, Ohio.
A visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, Iola, followed by a funeral service in the chapel at 2 o’clock. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery, Humboldt.
Memorials are suggested to Humboldt Volunteer Fire Department, and may be left with the funeral home at 1883 U.S. 54, Iola, KS 66749.
