Donnie Dale McDonald died Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka, surrounded by his loved ones.
Donnie was born to Steve and Mary McDonald on March 11, 1976 in Iola.
Donnie lived in a sheltered living group home in Topeka with his best friends. While Donnie loved to visit the family farm, he loved his home in Topeka and those he shared it with.
Donnie is survived by his mother, Mary (Rosacker) McDonald; sisters Joy (McDonald) Watson and Wendy (McDonald) Froggatte and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Steven McDonald.
Memorial donations are suggested to Hope Unlimited in Iola, Kansas, and may be left in the care of Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54 in Iola.
Graveside services will be held privately.
